Jakub Skavroň

Chairman Climate & Sustainable Leaders Czech Republic

Chairman Jakub Skavroň came up with the idea of creating a platform that would bring together responsible companies committed to the development of sustainable business and climate protection. Jakub has 20 years‘ experience in leadership and management roles in international corporations such as EPH, RWE, and Energo Pro. He was also a member of the Board of Directors and the Chief Financial Officer of ČEPS. Jakub Skavroň studied at the Czech Technical University in Prague. He also studied abroad at universities such as the University of Notre Dame Australia or the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology in Ireland.

Pavel Štefek

Deputy Chairman Climate & Sustainable Leaders Czech Republic

Pavel Štefek is a partner at the advisory company PwC which provides methodology and expertise for the entire initiative and the Carbon Tracker project. At PwC, Pavel heads teams specializing in digitization, risk assurance, internal audits, and with increasing frequency, services related to sustainability and the ESG phenomenon. His team is behind the development of a client application for the comprehensive management of ESG data, including carbon footprint calculation, definition and management of the goals and creation of non-financial reporting. He is a graduate of the Technical University in Ostrava (VŠB-TUO) and has held management positions at PwC Canada and PwC UK. He also serves as Automotive Industry Leader at PwC Czech Republic.
